I fear that I've become nocturnal. The last 3 days in a row have all been incredibly late nights, which wouldnt be bad except that I have a hard time sleeping in too late in the morning. I feel guilty and like I'm missing whatever is going on that day, so sleeping past a certain point is pretty much impossible. Even if I know in the back of my mind that all Im gonna do when I get up is lounge around the house in pajamas and watch tv, I still feel guilty that Im missing it. But the last few days have certainly been worth it...despite those pesky racoon circles that developed under my eyes.
On Friday, Tasha and I drove down to Pasadena and met up with Wiley and a large group of people I didn't really know, but who were surprisingly cool once I started talking to them. We hung out at Wiley's for a bit and then packed into two cars and drove down to a club in Anaheim. If I had my choice we wouldnt be going all the way to anaheim, but it was good we did because the club was very crowded and they played good dancing music. When we got there, we danced with our boys for a bit then split off for a little. There were tons of sketchy guys there, several of whom would grab you by the waist or by the arm and try to make you dance with them. At one point Tasha and I were dancing with a group of boys who were getting far too "friendly" so we ran away to find our guys. It was Sean and Jonah's first time to a club, but by the end of the night they looked like they were having a great time. I love dancing...more so if I know the person, but no matter!! I had been wanting to go dancing for a month, so I was glad it finally happened.
We left the club around 2, the girls we were with went home and Tasha, Wiley, Sean, Jonah and I grabbed some Jack in Box and sat on Wiley's porch until 4. I went to bed at 5 am. SO TIRED.
Our friend Vincent went to Peru last night for the entire summer, so on Saturday Tasha, cait and I went back to Pasadena to say goodbye, but he didnt even show up! We ended up hanging out with people we didnt know who were being a bit crazy, but only stayed till 12 so it was cool.
Then last night Wiley and Jonah decided to drive down and visit us in SCV. I suppose to see what good girls in the suburbs do on a regular basis. They didnt get here until 12! I stayed until 3:30 am cuz I had a job interview this morning and didn't want to be a walking zombie. I wouldve hung out all night. Wiley gives the best hugs ever by the way. hehe. So now Im about to fall asleep in the middle of the daytime, but luckily I think things will calm down for the upcoming week. Hopefully filled with movies, lounging, and a disneyland trip on friday with jess and my family.
